CUSCO, Peru (August 1, 2013)

Lunch: Cuy (say: coo'ee), aka guinea pig, a local delicacy. 

When the waiter said, "The head is the best part," I laughed so hard I split my lip in two places. 

The head was the one thing I had vowed not to touch - that and those curly little feet! 

(I ate them all!)

P.S. Cuy does NOT taste like chicken. ("Perhaps pets shouldn't be on the menu." ATM)
